THE TOWN
Àger is a little town in the region of La Noguera, province of Lleida, which is located between the rivers Noguera Pallaresa and Noguera Ribagorçana.
The history of the town is lost in time. Its geostrategic importance has turned it into a border enclave where battles and conquests took place.
Archaeological remains ensure that it was inhabited since, at least, the Neolithic era.
The surroundings, its history and the climate, make Àger a very unique place with great beauty.
THE MONTREBEI CANYON
Located in the Montsec mountain range, the Montrebei Canyon has become a must-see in this area. It stands out for the walls of more than 500 meters in height. Excursions can be made on foot, by kayak and via ferrata. It is essential to visit the hermitage of Pertusa and climb the stairs of Montfalcó.
